Project Scope
The goal was to create and develop a powerful Custom PHP eCommerce platform, tailored to the specific needs of Cutite Bushcraft — a direct importer and retailer of high-end hunting knives, military-grade blades, and bushcraft gear. The platform had to support complex pricing logic based on stock status, import timing, and origin country (such as Nordic Europe or Nepal), with real-time currency conversion and flexible product grouping options.
Challenges
The shop’s unique selling approach is built around personalised customer guidance for each product — focusing on matching the right tool with the customer's physical characteristics and intended use. This culture of expert technical counselling needed to be translated into a digital format without losing its authenticity. Additionally, the system had to handle classic eCommerce functions like discounts, vouchers, e-payments, shipping estimation, and a highly flexible admin interface — all in one seamless experience.
