Project Scope
The goal was to design and develop a flexible and secure data platform for financial integration between businesses and Romanian government portals, such as the eInvoice and eTransport (UIT code) systems. In addition to compliance, the platform needed to enhance internal workflows by managing payment approval processes, generating complex financial reports, and facilitating real-time notifications both internally and with external commercial partners.
Challenges
Given the sensitivity of financial data, the project required robust security measures. Integration with government platforms demanded the use of validated digital certificates, secure REST API connections, and JWT authentication tokens. The system also had to be capable of handling multi-tenant architecture—ensuring complete database isolation between clients while maintaining optimal performance and data integrity.
Solutions
We developed a custom solution using PHP, MySQL, and Redis, engineered for high performance, scalability, and reliability. Security and accuracy were paramount—no transactional errors were recorded in the first 18 months of live operation. Each client instance was tailored with a custom connector to integrate directly with their specific ERP or accounting system, ensuring seamless data flow and total operational alignment.
